Aymeric Laporte warns Manchester City to watch out Karim Benzema. Premier League club prepare to host Real Madrid in the Champions League last 16.
Laporte insists Manchester City will have to be at their best to beat Real Madrid in their Champions League last 16 second leg.
City hold a 2-1 lead from the first leg win at the Bernabeu in February, and Real Madrid must score twice to stand any chance of going through to the quarter finals.
And Madrid’s task will be harder as they will be without the suspended Sergio Ramos, but Laporte says Real will be fired up regardless of their captain’s absence.
“He’s in great nick. He’s scored a lot of goals this season and has also set up a fair few,” Laporte said in an interview with Diario AS.
“We’ll really have to be on our mettle. But that goes for the rest of the Real Madrid side – they’re all internationals.”
