Philippe Coutinho to remain at Barcelona under Ronald Koeman. He is back in Catalonia and training with Barça once again.

Philippe Coutinho’s agent has told TalkSport that the Brazilian will remain at Barcelona and is part of new coach Ronald Koeman’s plans.

His agent, Kia Joorabchian said “yeah” when asked if his client’s immediate future is now with Barca again despite being touted for a transfer earlier in the summer.

“Koeman called him right after the Champions League victory with Bayern, the following day, and told him he’s very much in his plans and would like him to return,” Joorabchian said.

Coutinho scored twice as Bayern beat Barca 8-2 in the Champions League last month and Joorabchian added: “Well, you’ve got to do your job and he did his job perfectly, and it’s probably the reason why Barcelona want him back so badly.”
