Barcelona line up a move for Pep Guardiola this summer. CAS will deliver their verdict in the next couple of weeks.
According to The Express, Barcelona are lining up a move for Pep Guardiola. If Manchester City’s appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport against a two-year European ban is thrown out.
CAS will deliver their verdict in the next couple of weeks after City appealed against UEFA’s ban. The ban was for serious breaches of Financial Fair Play regulations.
Moreover, Guardiola who took over as City boss from Manuel Pellegrini four years ago is entering into the final year of his £20 million agreement.
The former Premier League champions will sit down with Guardiola at the end of the season to discuss his future.
However, Barcelona are confident that Guardiola ready to return to his home town if City’s ban is upheld.
Meanwhile City are currently 23 points behind the Reds with seven games remaining.
Guardiola has been vocal on the gap between the two sides, with the ex-Barcelona boss hailing Jurgen Klopp’s men.
