Five subs in Serie A. The FIGC has announced that Serie A clubs will be able to make up to five substitutions for the rest of this season.
The move comes as part of a temporarily new ruling by the International Football Association Board (IFAB). The board designed new rule to help sides resume their respective campaigns following the coronavirus lockdown.
However, FIGC added teams were still limited to three intervals for making substitutions per match, excluding half-time.
In the event both teams change players at the same time, that will count towards one of their three intervals.
On the other hand, clubs will get a fourth interval to make a substitution in Coppa Italia ties going to extra time.
The ruling will last until the end of all the 2019-20 season, which restarts on June 20, and also applies to Serie B.
