Phil Neville hails Manchester United forwards best trio in Premier League and have solved a serious transfer issue for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Manchester United’s front three of Marcus Rashford, Mason Greenwood and Anthony Martial is the best attacking line-up in the Premier League, and have solved a serious transfer issue for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer ahead of the summer window.
That’s the opinion of United hero Phil Neville, who was full of praise for the trio after Thursday night’s win over Crystal Palace.
United continued their charge towards the top four in the Premier League table on Thursday.
“I looked at it at the start of the lockdown. And I thought ‘what areas do United need to invest in to close the gap to Man City and Liverpool?,” Neville said.
“Straight away I thought of the centre-forward. But them [sic] two are now causing Ole that big of a problem.”
“They’re the best three – with Greenwood – in the league, up there with the Liverpool and the City front three. I think they have the ability to interchange positions and link with each other. I don’t see any better.”
