Valencia FC have already started making their moves ahead of next season as they look to return to European football.

They brought in Javi Gracia. And now appear they to have arranged the first departure that brings in some funds for future signings. Ferran Torres joins Pep Guardiola at Manchester City.

As David Silva ends his time in the Premier League, hopes will be that another Spaniard can provide attacking spark.

Accordding to AS, The Spanish Under-21 international will cost City €25 million, plus further add-ons which could take the overall fee to €37 million.

Talks between the clubs are on-going, with an agreement on the wider terms of the deal thought to be close.

Ferran is one of Spain’s most promising young players, having come through Valencia’s academy and making his debut as a 17-year-old in 2017.

A talented and direct winger capable of playing on either flank, though preferring to operate from the right, Ferran enjoyed a breakthrough season in 2019-20.
