According to Turkish outlet Haber 365, Chelsea have struck an agreement with Trabzonspor to sign Cakir. The report states that the clubs have agreed a fee of €33m (£29.5m), who will move to west London this summer.
Lampard reportedly asked technical advisor Petr Cech to help him find a new goalkeeper alongside Marina Granovskaia. Cech was between the sticks at Stamford Bridge for 11 seasons.
