Patrice Evra hits out at Manchester United after Tottenham Hotspur defeat. He targeted United defenders and the club’s hierarchy.
Patrice Evra’s performance on Sky Sports on Saturday evening was so memorable it nearly eclipsed Manchester United’s shocking display against Tottenham.
The former United defender went through several stages of emotion live on air before, during and after the Red Devils’ 6-1 defeat to Jose Mourinho’s side on Saturday afternoon at Old Trafford.
The Frenchman said: ‘I expected nothing (from this season). I feel sad, also for the manager. Now we’re gonna start to talk about him, he’s gonna be the next one (to leave) – but what about the board?
‘Every time with transfers they don’t go with the right price. It’s like (if I go): “I’m going to buy a car, I know the price but I’m asking for less.”‘
‘I don’t promote violence but many people need a good slap in this club right now. That’s what I’d do right now if I’m working at the club.’
