Wolverhampton Wanderers ask €60m for Raul Jimenez. Juventus are said to be interested, with help from Jorge Mendes, but baulked at the asking price.
They are seeking a new forward to replace Gonzalo Higuain, with Napoli demanding €40m for first choice Arkadiusz Milik.
According to Calciomercato.com, agent Mendes – who also represents Cristiano Ronaldo – is hoping to orchestrate the transfer for Jimenez to Juventus.
However, the Premier League club is asking for €50-60m cash, without any player exchanges. And Juve consider that to be a totally outlandish request.
Juventus were aiming to get him on loan with an obligation to buy, perhaps with player exchanges, seeing Jimenez as a cheaper alternative to Milik rather than a more expensive one.
