Willian and Pedro are concerned over short-term Chelsea extensions.

Both Pedro and Willian are both concerned about signing short-term contract extensions to keep them at Chelsea until the end of the season as injuries could stop them finding a new club.

The Spaniard and the Brazilian are both out of contract at the end of June and are in a tricky situation regarding their future.

Neither appear likely to sign new deals to stay at Chelsea for next season and beyond, but with the Premier League season now running into July, their current contracts do not see them through all the fixtures.

The Telegraph reports that the club and the players are stuck in limbo with the situation ahead of the Premier League getting back underway next week.

Pedro is fully expected to leave the club this summer, but Willian’s future is less clear as Chelsea want to keep hold of him, but negotiations over a new contract have been unsuccessful.

The Brazil international wants a new three-year deal, but at 31 years old, the Blues are only willing to offer him two more years at Stamford Bridge.
